All participants skate at their own risk.  Skating is physically strenuous exercise.  Participants must be of reasonable health and ability to partake in the activity. When skating and/or spectating, there is a danger of injury caused by falls or collisions. Participants must be able to skate competently and unassisted as no supervision or training is provided by United SK8S.

You are advised not to participate if you:

  • are pregnant;
  • suffer from any condition, or are taking any medication, which inhibits your agility, balance or mobility;
  • suffer from any heart conditions;
  • suffer from epilepsy; or
  • suffer from vision impairment and are not wearing suitable corrective measures.

The above is not exhaustive list.  If you are in any doubt as to your ability to participate you should consult your GP or other health professional prior to participating.

Participants under the age of 16 must be supervised by an adult who is able to skate competently and unassisted.

Save insofar as otherwise restricted by law, neither United SK8S nor its employees will be liable to any person, whether in contract, negligence, or under statute for any loss or damage howsoever caused in respect of the provisions of skating facilities, provisions for spectating, or the hire of skates (under exception of death or personal injury caused by the negligence of United SK8S or its employees).

Neither United SK8S nor its employees will be liable to any person in respect of the (i) misuse of any goods provided by United SK8S, or (ii) negligence or fault of other participators.

In any event, the liability of United SK8S in respect of the foregoing is limited to direct and foreseeable losses that you may suffer.  United SK8S are not liable for indirect or consequential loss which may arise.
