Do I have to book online?

We advise booking online if you need skate hire; some venues can have randomly busy peaks and being mobile we can only carry so many pairs of skates.

If you own your own skates, please simply book online.

How much does it cost for a regular event?

  • Kids: From £6
  • Adults: From £8
  • Family Multi-ticket: Book 4 or more skaters receive 10% discount
  • Skate Hire: £2.00 per person, if required

Can you Hire skates?

Yes, we Hire Rio Rental, retro Quad skates.

Can we hire Inline skates?

We don’t Hire Inline skates just retro quad skates, but you can use your own inline skates at most events.

Can I use my own skates?

Yes, provided you have non marking toe stops.

Please check with one of our skate hire team who will advise you.

Can you teach us how to skate?

Please ask any Marshal at any event for advice hints and tips to get you rolling.

What is the minimum age?

We have no minimum age limit here at United SK8s; however, our hire skates start at a child size 6 to 9 adjustable.

We advise that the younger the skater the more assistance they need from parents or guardians.

What sizes of skates should I book?

We are often asked if our customers should go up a size or down a size.

The best advise we have on this is just simply book your actual shoe size for skate hire. If you're say a 6.5 UK, then simply book a UK 7 and wear thick socks at that event.

Can we hire helmets?

We don’t hire helmets at roller discos mainly due to hygiene and the vast quantities we would need to carry.

Do you sell skates and equipment?

No we no longer sell skates an equipment, However a quick google of what you're looking for will give you a host of available outlets.

What Time do we need to arrive?

Arrival about 5 to 10 minutes prior to the event, check in is quick.

Can we get a refund?

If contacted 36 hours prior to any booked event we may be able to offer a full refund, we can no longer carry the booking to another event.
